The Moldex Fit Test Kit provides everything needed to perform qualitative respirator fit tests using the Bitrex method. Fit testing is essential to ensure that disposable and reusable respirators seal correctly, helping protect users in workplaces with dust, fumes, or hazardous substances.
This kit uses a bitter-tasting aerosol to detect leaks. If the wearer tastes the solution, the mask is not sealing properly, and adjustments or a different size respirator may be needed.
