Support channel, is often referred to as 'Unistrut' and is a standardised structural system that is easily adjustable and reusable. The channel can either be plain or slotted. Plain channel strut has no pre-drilled holes or slots whilst slotted channel strut features slots at 50mm centres. The Unistrut system can be quickly assembled with minimal tools, no welding or drilling necessary. Slotted channel strut is also available as light-duty slotted channel strut and heavy-duty slotted channel strut. Plus, back to back strut channel can also be purchased, including Plain Channel B2B 41mm x 82mm and Slotted Channel B2B 41mm x 82mm. Both back to back struts are pre-galvanised and suitable for heavy-duty applications. Channel strut is used to support, mount and connect light structural loads alongside other Unistrut accessories, including Unistrut fixings, channel nuts, cantilever arms and pipe clamps. Some of our Unistrut compatible brackets include external square plate washers and couplers which will help build supports and frames to create the perfect system for your needs. Channel Strut Square Plate Washers are external washers that offer a base to lock down a screwed rod with a nut and washer. Channel couplers, such as Internal Channel Strut Coupler, are designed to join two lengths of channel strut. Base plates are also available, including Channel Strut Base Plate 3 Hole, which is used to secure Unistrut Channel to a surface.
