Wedge nuts are designed to help support items using threaded rods, pipe clips and bolts on concrete decking systems and hollow ribbed concrete decking. Wedge nuts get their name due to the fact that these nuts wedge against the sides of roof and floor decking. These nuts can be easily fixed into the dovetail by hand.
We stock Mild Steel Wedge Nuts which have been plated in bright zinc and feature a threaded connector. These come in a variety of sizes, from M10 wedge nuts to M8 wedge nuts, and are designed to be fixed on composite flooring systems. This wedge nut should be used with static loads only.
