Manual taps, also referred to as hand taps, are tapping tools used to create threads or re-thread holes and/or fasteners. These are used alongside tap wrenches, which are hand tools used to turn taps and other small tools.
Hand taps are most commonly used by engineers, mechanics and metalworkers but can also be used by a variety of other tradesmen. At Speedy Fixings, we stock a Second Tap in various sizes, including M4 Second Tap, M8 Second Tap and M12 Second Tap, as well as a Tap Wrencher.
