Hole saws, also referred to as hole cutters, are used to cut perfectly round holes. These are designed to cut larger holes than standard drill bits. Holesaws are capable of creating a large hole in a surface without cutting up the core material.
Starrett Cobalt Holesaw can be purchased at Speedy Fixings. This is a fast cutting hole saw which features heat and wear resistance. It can be used to cut on a variety of materials. This hole saw is available in various sizes, from 14mm Starrett Cobalt Holesaw to 105mm Starrett Cobalt Holesaw.
Arbors should be used to keep hole saws stable while drilling, Arbors create a tight fit between the power drill and the hole saw, reducing any movement shifts of the hole saw teeth. We stock a variety of arbors to suit various applications, including Starrett Oops Pilot Arbors, Hex Holesaw Arbors and SDS Plus Arbors.
Starrett Oops Arbors, such as the Starrett A19 Oops Arbor, is used in conjunction with the A1, A2 and A10 type hole saw arbors. The A2 Hex Holesaw Arbor is designed for 32mm to 210mm diameter holesaws with a 7/16 inch hex shank. SDS Plus Arbors, such as the A2 SDS+ Holesaw Arbor, should be used in SDS Plus rotary hammer drills.
