We supply standard wrap over joist hangers, long leg joist hangers and extra long leg joist hangers. These pre-galvanised steel joist hangers are available in a comprehensive range of sizes. Masonry hangers are designed to support beams, timber joists and trussed rafters from masonry walls.

Wall Ties (16)
Wall ties, also known as brick ties, are restraint fixings used to create stability in cavity walls. They are fixed in place with screws or nails and bring together both sides of the cavity wall. Wall ties are made using corrosion and fire-resistant materials, and some include a drip formation, to stop water from getting inside the cavity. At Speedy Fixings, we stock stainless steel (grade A2-304) frame cramps, wall ties and debonding sleeves. In addition to our stock ranges, we also manufacture in house, a wide variety of cramps, brackets, dowels, windposts etc. Contact us with your enquiry. While wall ties cannot be seen externally, it is important that they are installed correctly. Poorly installed wall ties can lead to a series of structural issues and failures, including horizontal cracks in walls, bulging walls and in extreme cases, collapsing walls. This 200mm Heavy Duty Type 1 Wall Tie is suitable for most building sizes and types, but should not be used where there is excessive movement between both walls, as these ties are not flexible. This wall tie is also available in 225mm Heavy Duty Type 1 Wall Tie, 250mm Heavy Duty Type 1 Wall Tie, 275mm Heavy Duty Type 1 Wall Tie and 300mm Heavy Duty Type 1 Wall Tie. This 200mm Light Duty Type 4 Wall Tie can be used in domestic dwellings up to 10m high, on flat sites less than 150m above sea level and where the basic wind speed is less than 27 m/s. The Brick Timber Stainless Steel Wall Tie accommodates movement in timber frames and SIP structures, allowing up to 24mm of movement. At Speedy Fixings, we also offer a variety of restraint straps, including the 600mm Light Engineered Restraint Strap, 600mm Heavy Engineered Restraint Strap, 400mm Galvanised Heavy Duty Restraint Strap and 75mm Stainless steel Light Duty Restraint Strap.
