Speed plugs are a lightweight anchor fixing, ideal for securing light-duty objects of no more than 9kg to plasterboard walls. At Speedy Fixings, we stock 31.5mm metal drywall speed plugs with screws that offer a quick and easy application process. These screws can also be installed into walls with a maximum thickness of 6mm.
To install your metal speed plug, all you will need is a cross-recess screwdriver which allows you to easily insert the screw into a clear hole, with little damage to the plasterboard. Speed plugs feature 3 sharp points at the end of the screw which helps to guide the fixing into the wall.
