Socket button head machine screws feature a large dome head and a hexagonal socket in the head designed to be tightened or loosened with a hex key or Allen key. These are available in different materials, including bright zinc plated socket button machine screws and stainless steel socket button head machine screws.
Other socket machine screws include socket cap head machine screws and socket countersunk head machine screws. While socket cap head screws have a barrel-shaped head, socket countersunk head screws feature a flat top.
