Terry’s Role at Speedy Fixings 

Terry joined Speedy Fixings 8 years ago back in 2015, and he now works as our Sales Manager. As you may have seen on our About Us page, he is also the company’s buyer, which adds significant value to our business. Terry’s expertise and dedication in both areas have been instrumental in driving Speedy Fixings forward. 

Passion for the Fixings Industry 

Terry is passionate about the fixings industry, finding the diversity of projects particularly engaging. Each new challenge keeps his work fresh and interesting, driving his commitment to delivering tailored solutions for every unique project. His enthusiasm for this ever-changing field is a key part of what he brings to Speedy Fixings. 

Everyday Tasks That Bring Joy to Terry 

In his daily role, Terry finds satisfaction in assisting customers especially when it comes to special products like customised post shoes or brackets. He excels in understanding their specific needs and guiding them through the selection process. This hands-on approach in helping clients find exactly what they need is what Terry enjoys most about his work. 

Beyond Work 

Outside of work, Terry’s interests are diverse and engaging. He has a keen fascination with technology, especially computers and phones, always staying updated with the latest advancements. Additionally, he’s an avid football fan, but unfortunately, he supports Liverpool. 

Terry’s Piece of Advice 

Terry’s advice reflects his years of experience: “There are many products to get to know, but time really flies in this job. Days and even years pass quickly.” He emphasises how fast-paced and absorbing the fixings industry is, with each day bringing new things to learn and keeping the work engaging. So overall, “take your time learning; it’s okay if you don’t grasp everything right away”.
