Taps and dies are threading tools used to create new screw threads or re-thread holes and nuts. There are various different types of taps and dies to choose from. At Speedy Fixings, we stock manual taps and VersaDrive taps, including ImpactaTaps and Drill Taps. Manual taps, also known as hand taps, are designed to be tapped by hand with a tap wrench. We stock a Second Tap available in various thread sizes, including M4 Second Tap, M10 Second Tap and M20 Second Tap. These can be tapped using our Tap Wrench. VersaDrive ImpactaTaps offer a 15 times faster way of tapping compared to hand tapping. These are suitable to be driven by impact wrenches and impact drivers to tap holes in steel and other materials. ImpactaTaps offer safe tapping with minimal kickback. VersaDrive Drill Taps can be used for both tapping and pilot drilling. With a titanium coating, VersaDrive drill taps offer wear resistance and faster cutting performance. Hacksaws are used to cut through a variety of materials, including plastic, steel and more. We stock the Bahco 317 Hacksaw supplied with the 300 mm Sandflex® 24 TPI bi-metal blade. This hacksaw features a comfortable and easy-to-use hacksaw frame as well as a special grip that offers good support.
