How do Interclamp railings work?

Interclamp railings are designed for easy, simple and fast erection of rigid structures by hand with a minimum amount of tools. Interclamp is a cost effective, efficient system for hand railing, roof edge protection and guardrails. Particularly when compared with traditional methods of construction such as welding, where specialist tools, extensive training and experience are required.

Advantages of Interclamp Railings

There are many advantages to Interclamp Railings including their quick and easy assembly, adjustability, versatility as well as their strength and durability.

Quick and easy assembly – Interclamp railings feature modular slip-on handrail tubes and key clamp fittings that are quickly fastened with an Allen key. Making installation of various structures possible with minimum tools and eliminating the need to carry large welding equipment.
Adjustable – Interclamp railings can easily be adjusted to accommodate slopes and access ramps. We supply the Interclamp Assist range which meets the public access requirements of the Equality Act 2010 (formerly DDA) and Building Regulations Part M 2013.
Versatility – The Interclamp system is highly versatile making it the perfect solution for a variety of applications. Commonly used for hand railing, safety guardrails and roof edge protection it can also be used for a variety of other more creative applications, including retail displays, clothing racks, shelving and more.
Strength and durability – Interclamp fittings are made from malleable iron which meets the BS EN 1562:2012. These fittings feature a hot-dipped galvanised coating to BS EN ISO 1461:2009 and an additional coating on top of the galvanised finish to further enhance their corrosion resistance.
